World’s 8th largest railway tunnel: Khojak Tunnel
The construction of Railway started in 1891 in Baluchistan. 37 tunnels were made on a track of 1326 km and only in a time spam of 3 years. The tunnels were named on the names of few engineers, personalities and weather conditions. Among all... the tunnels, there is a tunnel named as ‘Khojak’.
The real name of ‘Khojak’ tunnel is ‘Kozak’. Kozak is word of Pushtu language which means zig zag tracks. The construction of tunnel started on 14th April, 1888. The work was completed on 1891. Along with many capable teams of Engineers there were also many masons from local areas who worked on the construction sites. The fuels for machines were carried through camels at a place named as Huntun about 40 miles from the construction site.
The fuel from Huntun was brought to site through train. The Khojak or Kozak tunnel of Balochistan was in start the world’s 4th largest railway tunnel. Now its the world’s 8th largest railway tunnel. Its length is 3.92 km. The tunnel is located at 17 miles from chaman between chaman and sheela bagh. Due to its importance, Government of Pakistan had published the tunnel picture on a 5 rupee note. The leading person on the construction of the tunnel was Gen. Thomas . The tunnel is beautiful due to the scenes around it. There are many springs and streams on the tunnel too.

Antenna
Dual Mode Transmitter (DMT)
Modular Low-power radio frequency (MLPRF)
Programmable signal processor (PSP)
The AN/APG-68(V)9 radar is the latest development. Besides the increase in scan range compared to the previous version, it has a Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) capability.

Improvements in false alarm rate and mutual interference;
Four versus two tracked targets in the Situation Awareness mode (a search-while-track mode)
Larger search volume and improved track performance in Track While Scan mode.
Improved track performance in Single Target Track mode;
Two-foot resolution in new Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) mode, which allows autonomous delivery of precision, all-weather, standoff weapons
Increased detection range in Sea Surveillance mode;
Improved target detection and map quality in Ground Moving Target Indication mode.
O level student scores record 23 As
ISLAMABAD: A student in Islamabad, Ibrahim Shahid, set a new world record by scoring 23 As in Cambridge O level exams.
Shahid, a student of a private school in Islamabad, sat for 24 subjects and scored 23 As.
Attributing his success to his parents, Shahid recalled an incident where his teacher in Australia had written him off, stating that he would “never excel”. He added that every child is special and everyone has their own capabilities.
Earlier, Ali Moeen Nawazish, also a Pakistani student, had set a world record by securing 23 As in A level Cambridge exams.
